Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.

Sorry, the camera was a little bit out of focus.
"Who feels like they need more adventure, more substance, more to life? The prospect of settling has never been more real or terrifying." .... "Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back-- Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth that ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now."

How to: Soft Neon Chucks

Top: Urban Outfitters // Skirt: Boutique // Bag: Forever 21 // Sneakers: Converse

It's been a little while since I've worn sneakers. Now that it's officially summer, sometimes you want to let the heels rest a bit and be comfy. It was love at first sight as soon as I saw these soft neon yellow chucks. The key to wearing neon is to balance it out with wearing neutral/ subdued colors. I often tend to go with the basic denim, black and white.

How To: Floral print on Floral print

I wasn't going to post the below picture up because well...it's obvious as you can see but then I said...heck you know what, my god given blessings aren't even "fully" showing but this is a great example of a #FemaleWithBraCupSizeDD struggle - THE UNBUTTONING OF BUTTON DOWN SHIRTS BECAUSE YOUR BOOBIES NEVER FIT. Others, might view this struggle as a blessing, AND so should I. (Insert sarcasm here)
This outfit I wore 3 days ago! Jesus! It's becoming harder and harder to blog. If people only knew it's not as simple and easy as it might seem. From the waking up, to selecting ensemble, to makeup, to accessorizing, to photo shooting, to choosing the pics worth posting, to resizing them, to actually writing the post. Phew* Trust me, it takes time. But, it's all for a purpose (MY hobby). I enjoy doing this and (getting off topic)... I can careless about the stereo types that are out there about "Fashion Bloggers"...That we're materialistic, that we're not smart because all we do is take pictures of ourselves and post them for others to opinionate, that we're self-centered, conceited, egotistic,  narcissistic etc, etc. Bullshit, ALL BULLSHIT. I know this shit is not rocket science and anyone can be a blogger but the person who writes those articles bashing and badmouthing fashion bloggers are probably sitting behind a computer - hating their life, insecure, self loathing, feeling envious, selfless, depressed, sad and self-concious that they're not as capable as we are. Whatev's.

Below are similar items to re-create this outfit! Check these out.

Enjoy the rest of your day my darlings.

Lovely Saturday Afternoon.

Top: Boutique // Pencil Skirt: American Apparel // Single Sole Heels: Charlotte Russe // Clutch: Strawberry

I'm baaaack to regular outfit posts aka OOTD's! Wohoo! Yesterday was such a lovely saturday afternoon. The weather was perfect. Had a fish, salmon & shrimps barbecue (delicious by the way, if you've never tried it, don't wait any longer). I'm amazed at how good seafood tastes barbecued; just lightly season it with lime, fish seasoning, grounded garlic, adobo, and a hint of salt. Yum! And of course I also made my signature homemade guacamole - which I'm utterly addicted to.
I'm so glad my hair is growing fast! I promise myself to let it grow up to my poom poom.  If you haven't already noticed, I prefer my hair straight most of time. Yesterday I flat ironed it with my Hana flat iron from Misikko.com. I'm obsessed with this Tourmaline Ceramic flat iron. It leaves your hair silky smooth and shiny. I also love how your hair lasts all day straight, frizz free and pretty no matter the weather conditions. I have 2 other flat irons and this is my favorite due it's advanced pro technology which prevents heat damage to your hair.
Hope you all enjoy your Sunday fun day.
Happy Father's Day!

Cargo Pants and BBQ's

Who doesn't love BBQ's? This is what I wore for a Saturday BBQ! I have to say that cargo pants will forever be a staple in my closet. Like a good pair of jeans, you can pretty much wear them with anything, dress them up or down.

Target Teams with Phillip Lim for Fall Collection
By: Stephanie Murg
So many collaborations, so little time. Last night in New York, Versace launched its Versus Versace J.W. Anderson capsule collection, for which the British designer mixed 90′s-infused androgyny (Body Glove brights, cropped and slashed black knitwear) with house signatures (gold lion heads, safety pins). Those not in the market for pricey unisex clubwear should mark their calendars for the ides of September, when Target will unveil its one-off line with Phillip Lim. The designer, who describes his aesthetic as “something between classic and that sense of madness,” set out to create something “cool and chic, but still very accessible.” For the range of women’s and men’s apparel and accessories, he kept the focus on autumnally appropriate neutral tones and prints in materials such as jersey, French terry, and leather. Prices for the approximately 100 items in the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection will range from $19.99, for a travel pouch, to $299.99, for a leather moto jacket. Source: Mediabistro.com

Launches Sept. 15, 2013.

Definitely looking forward to this collection! Love his clean, urban, wearable New York style designs.
Enjoy your day! :)
